About Us

Our dental practice has some history (about 30 years worth!). Originally established by Dr. Mark Eggleton in the 1980s, Dr. Alison Poulin started as an assistant and ultimately became the owner in 2013. In 2020, Dr. Robert Atwell purchased the practice and it was renamed Fairmount Dental for the neighborhood in which we are situated — Fairmount meaning “the little city in itself”.

Fairmount Dental in Bangor, Maine offers a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients to receive quality care. We recognize each patient as an individual and strive to provide personalized options for each unique situation that our patients present with. Our emphasis on educating patients on their oral health has helped many patients make the right choices about their care.
